Dog GPS Collars, The Perfect Christmas Gift

Posted by admin on November 19th, 2008 under Random stuff  •  No Comments

I know it’s early but Christmas is coming. I am always the worst about getting gifts at the last minute. The gifts I usually get are crappy because I end up at K-mart on Christmas eve. This year I have vowed to do my shopping early this year. I have bought my first gift for my brother which is a dog gps collar for is beloved black lab.

He likes to take his dog hunting and unfortunately has found that there are times where he spends more time trying to track down his dog than actually hunting. I know it’s an expensive gift but I feel like I owe it to him from all the years of slacking on presents. He will absolutely love this pet tracking device. Now I just have to find that perfect gift for my sister.

Embroidery designs sites

Posted by admin on October 29th, 2008 under Random stuff  •  No Comments

What are you looking for in a embroidery design site?  I often look around for some good designs to use, especially around the holidays.  One of the problems is that I keep seeing the same sites promoting stuff and they never have anything new.

I found a good site the other day that has some good resources and information about machine embroidery designs that are really good.  I hope you can find some good information too about it.

I just recently completed working on some quilts and other things and this site helped point me to the resources that I needed to finish those projects.

Transplant Alternatives

Posted by admin on October 15th, 2008 under Healthy  •  No Comments

Are you going bald. Are you looking for alternatives? Transplant
alternatives
do exist although
they may be hard to come by. Also its debatable just how effective they are,
and if the results are what would be expected. One of these methods is
permanent makeup. The concept here is to try and conceal the areas of the
transplant where the scalp is still visible.

The makeup helps to camouflage the
scalp, giving somewhat of an illusion that the hair is more dense than it
really is. Theres also some medicinal treatments being offered as another
method. The results to these vary and they have their own side effects.

Limited Edition Sneakers

So what I want to know is if you finally get your hands on the limited edition shoes such as the Bathing Apes Shoes,
do the owners of these precious kicks actually wear them or are they
immediately retired in their box to a display room with other popular
shoes?

I would imagine that if you owned a pair of these shoes that the
minute you wore them outside they may lose part of their uniqueness.
Kind of like how you were never suppose to open up a package or bend a
baseball card or read those treasured comic books. Do people collect these shoes like dolls and cards?

Diet pills and there side effects

Posted by admin on October 10th, 2008 under Healthy  •  No Comments

It is known that diet pills are
generally effective in serving their purpose than others. They all basically work the
same way, and thats acting as a appetite suppressant. After all if you don’t
feel hungry then your not as likely to eat, which in turn makes you less
likely to gain weight. The concept is wonderful but the potential best weight loss diet pills
side effects are not. The pills work on the chemical action of the body. It
simulates the fight or flight reaction our body takes on when in danger. This
is fine for a short period of time. Unfortunately with diet pills its
consistently longer.

Hirsutism

As you may or may not already know hirsutism is the
excessive growth of unwanted hair. The causes
of hirsutism varies amongst individuals. Women in perimenopause can
develop hirsutism at any  time.
Perimenopause is the five year time period
prior to the last menstrual period. Then it can also produce itself
during menopause. If a woman is suffering from flushing and hot flashes in all
likeliness she is in Perimenopause or menopause. Another condition that perhaps
is a little easier to detect is masculinization. Here is there not only
increased hair growth, but there are changes in the voice, increased muscle
mass and perhaps even male pattern baldness. Hirsutism is hard endure even on
its own

Taking the Family on a Big Bear Vacation

Posted by admin on October 1st, 2008 under Friends and family  •  No Comments

Skiing is one of the best activities to do on big bear which is located in the big bear lake area about 100 miles north east of Los Angeles.  Planning a trip is often not an easy task especially when you are planning a vacation for a large family. I finally have time to take my wife and kids.  The Big Bear cabins we stayed in offered my family many cool things such as  access to a kitchen, patio, and plenty of extra space.
If you have a large family you might want to consider looking into their rentals home and be ready to enjoy skiingâ?? snowboarding and plenty of fun activities for the entire family.

What To Considering When Choosing A Converter Box

If you have been trying to decide between several different converter boxes then I am here to help inform you about what features you need to consider in order to get yourself the very best TV converter box.  First and foremost you need to consider the picture clarity of the converter box.  Getting the best possible picture is probably the most important thing.

Secondly, you need to consider the sound quality of the converter box.  The third thing to consider is whether or not the TV converter box comes with analog pass-through or not.  If you can find a converter box that has all three of these features working well then you are probably safe in buy it.  One TV converter box that does have these three features plus a ton more is the Tivax stb-t9

How easy is it to be a millionaire?

Posted by admin on September 28th, 2008 under Investing  •  No Comments

I was reading a review of something called the millionaire league–apparently if you join you’re on your way to being a millionaire? I don’t know but if I could could make a million dollars and become a millionaire just by buying something then I would kiss a guy’s feet.

Something about the set up doesn’t feel right to me–if somebody is making SO much money with his program that he is pulling in millions then why in the world would he give these techniques away for such a low price? Wouldn’t you charge thousands or tens of thousands of dollars for that kind of information? Just my 2 cents, but I’d like to hear what you all think.

Presidential Dollar Coin Collecting

Posted by admin on September 7th, 2008 under Collectibles  •  No Comments

With all of the hype these last few weeks about the Presidential race and politics, my son has gotten interested in coin collecting.  He has always liked money (who doesn’t) but watching the coverage of the conventions and stuff has gotten him interested more in politics.

Since he is in 6th grade, I thought this would be a great time to help him learn more about politics, American history and what better way to do that than with Presidential Dollar Coins.

While we can’t afford a lot, or I should say I can’t afford a lot, we are working on starting a collection so far that is pretty interesting.  Actually, the prices of the coins we are looking at haven’t been as bad as I thought they would have been.

We just picked up a 99 Presidential Gold Mint set for under $5!

If you are looking to combine history and investing, you might consider Presidential coin collecting.  It’s fun and a great way to spend time with your family.
